NEARLY 250 people enjoyed a healthy Christmas lunch at a Tullibody Healthy Living (THL) event for older adults last month.
The community rallied round to help provide an entertaining day and a variety of services attended to give advice.
Donna McLean, who organised the event, said: “It was great to see everyone getting involved as well as the schools who supported time off for the girls to come along and get involved in their community event.
“We always work in partnership with the community and other services and the girls, as well as enjoying being part of the event, earned Young Scot points for their efforts.” The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, the fire service, Doorstep Crime, Clacks Council Fuel and Money Advice Team and digital service Living it Up were available for a chat on the day.
All older adults are reminded that there are services available to help them live healthier and happier.
If you would like any information about these call THL 01259 724374 or pop into the office in Tron Court, Tullibody.
