TULLIBODY Healthy Living (THL) held a free ‘step into spring’ event at the weekend.
Members of the community enjoyed a range of activities at the Tullibody Civic Centre on Saturday (28 March), such as aerobics and yoga for adults and games, face painting, arts and crafts for children.
Donna McLean, of THL, said: “Spring is upon us — time to get fit, inform the community of the upcoming developments and kick off our local activities. The Big Lunch came early this year with lots of residents enjoying a healthy warm cup of soup and a fruit salad.
“Tullibody Community Football Club and Way Ahead Club entertained kids and adults with fun activities, as well as the Delph Pond Forum introducing the new woodland paths. Big thanks to all our volunteers, helpers and everyone who came along and took part.
“The History Group opened the Heritage Centre’s door for the first time this year, Tullibody Community Garden completed the tattie planting and did a grow your own garlic workshop providing a learning experience for many.” On the day there was also information stalls on health checks and from Forth Valley College, carers and Youth/Mental Health Services.
