MORE events have been lined up to help a Tullibody woman reach her fundraising target of £10,000.
Gena Monteith (33) is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of her sister, Stacey Carlisle, who passed away at the age of 32 having had breast cancer.
To help with this goal, Chloe Wotherspoon will hold a Clubbercise Class on Monday 27 July at Coalsnaughton Village Hall, from 7-8pm.
It includes light sticks (return at the end) and neon face paints, entry is £5 and all will go to the charity.
A children’s sponsored walk has also been organised – a fun event to keep youngsters occupied during the holiday.
It will take place on Saturday 1 August at Gartmorn Dam, 11am, all kids welcome.
Gena wants to raise the impressive sum by midnight on Friday 7 August, to mark what would have been her sister’s 40th birthday.
