PROPOSALS for an indoor trampoline park have been submitted to Clackmannanshire Council.

A planning application has been lodged seeking permission to establish it at Dumyat Business Park in Tullibody.

Within the document given to the local authority, it is outlined that trampolining has become an "increasingly popular family activity".

The move, it is said, would create around six to eight full-time jobs and up to 15 part-time positions for the local community, perhaps more after the first year.

A report in the application for change of use states: "The aim is to encourage children to be more active, sporty and healthy.

"The unit has an existing first floor where our client proposes a ‘healthy’ café facility.

"There will be open viewing from the café out onto the Trampoline Zone allowing friends and family to spectate."

It also includes suggestions to make some alterations to create a large internal room for birthday parties, private meetings and functions.

There are 11 parking spaces for the unit and the plan recommends increasing these to 18; there is also the potential to utilise 29 spots for overspill.
