"WRESTLE-MANIA" hit the Wee County recently with the arrival of the action-packed Take Down Tullibody event.

There was plenty of over-the-top fun and entertainment for all the family, with both adults and children cheering on their favourite performers with enthusiasm.

It was a real attraction, especially for younger generations, and there was also food and drink available to purchase to keep everyone going.

Held in a sold-out Tullibody Civic Centre, the event welcomed the superstars of Reckless Intent Wrestling.

They put on a great show in the ring and interacted with the audience to properly get everyone involved in the spirit of the night.

Take Down Tullibody was a first for the town and was organised by a team of local volunteers at Tullibody Events.

The aim was to provide a great night out, that would also support the centre and raise funds to enable future activities to be held.

According to Pauline Macnaughtan, a member of the team, everyone had a fantastic time.

She said: "The wrestling night at the civic centre was extremely successful with a full house.

"We sold all the tickets available on the evening and are grateful to everyone that came along to support the night.

"The kids and adults alike joined in the excitement jumping and cheering for their favourite wrestler.

"The music was loud and exciting giving everyone a great nights entertainment, unlike anything we've seen before in Tullibody.

"The wrestlers were fantastic with the crowd, and put on a great fight and a great show."
