DOLLAR girl Amy Duffus fenced in the Scottish Secondary Schools Championships at St Thomas of Aquin, Edinburgh – a competition run by Scottish Fencing.
Amy won the Over 16 Girls Epee, a step up from last year when she did very well to win silver.

Fourteen-year-old Laura Smith has just become a second-dan black belt after passing her most recent grading – but it proved to be a long wait as she had to count the days until she was old enough to sit the test.
