Dear Editor, Frank Field, one of the more respected & level-headed Labour Politicians, suggests higher-income Pensioners should start making National Insurance Contributions to help NHS?
Surely the quicker Mr Field and his Labour colleagues realise that, in it’s PRESENT FORM the NHS is no longer economically viable!
Many people have paid NI Contributions for more than 40 years, rarely visit a doctor, and never been in hospital.
Throwing money at NHS will simply not help it?
It is riddled with under-performing management and a CULL of Management is URGENTLY needed in order to create a lean, and fit for purpose Machine.
Kind Regards Brian Doyle 13 Hutton Park Alloa
