Sex Offenders Register for "prank"
A YOUNG man who jokingly sent an indecent image has been placed on the sex offenders’ register.
On Thursday at Alloa Sheriff Court, Grant Monteith admitted sending the sexual snap to a woman via Facebook messenger on September 17 last year.
Sheriff David Mackie told Monteith, of Sauchie’s Pearson View, that he was “sorry” to see him in court and accepted it was a “prank in poor taste”.
The 23-year-old was sentenced to a community payback order with six months’ supervision and placed the sex offenders’ register for six months.
