ALLOA swimmer Duncan Scott will realise his dream this summer by competing at the Olympic Games in Rio after he was announced in the 26-strong squad.
The talented teen had been sweating over his place after the Olympics trials last weekend, despite a sterling performance that saw him become British champion as he claimed gold in the 100m Freestyle.
Scott followed that up with an impressive bronze medal as well as a new personal best in the 200m Individual Medley before also giving himself a chance of selection in the 4x200m relay with a fourth place in the 200m freestyle.
The swimmer had feared that it still might not have been enough, but the announcement of the Olympic Swim team selection will come as a huge relief and reward as he can now focus his attentions on preparing for the biggest swim of his life this summer.
