Also swimming well was 13-year-old Angus Young, who took a 4th in the 200 fly, a 6th in the 100 fly and 6th in the 100 back.

Ten-year-old Harris Whyte, swimming in his first West Districts, reached three finals where he swam brilliantly to take 5th in the 400 free, 6th in the 100 free and 6th in the 100 fly.

Also swimming for the Alloa were 12-year-old Ptolemy McCappin and 11-year-old Shona Whyte, who both swam extremely well gaining new personal best times at the long course event.
