Alloa RFC...69

Kinross RFC...12

THE Alloa under 14 squad put on a great display of running rugby to entertain the large Earlsfield crowd who turned up for the first Friday night match in many a year.

With six tries in the first half and five in the second, the Alloa side were dominant throughout, but credit to the Kinross side who never gave up and scored two tries of their own during the second period.

Even with absences due to injury and other commitments all of the youngsters put on an outstanding performance with Robbie Duddy shining in the forwards and Alex Young showing that he is one for the future with his electric turn of pace in the backs.

With Sunday training and games now finished for the season, both of the Alloa under 14 and under 16 sides have an end of season finale with a Saturday match at home against Oban Lorne RFC.

Saturday, June 3, kick-off 1pm. There will be a BBQ to follow and another large turnout is expected to cheer on the future stars of the club.
