ALLOA are faced with a major goalkeeping problem with the announcement this week that Raymond Jellema, their regular stopper is leaving the club because of work commitments in Aberdeen.
The former Hamilton keeper (23), has missed only one game this season, when he was suspended at East Fife on 6 December. He is recognised as one of the best goalkeepers in the Scottish Second Division so Alloa are anxious to keep him at Recreation Park.
The Wasps have already released keeper Michael White so two replacements will now have to be found.
Jellema told Advertiser Sport, 'I will be working for a petroleum engineering company based in Aberdeen for three months, until the end of August, which is a must-do thing as part of my degree.
'It is a pity I have to leave Recreation Park because I have really enjoyed my two seasons with Alloa.
'The chemistry has been really good between Michael White, John Hillcoat and myself so I will miss that too.'
