Stirling Albion 0 v 0 Alloa

Townsley went close with an early header
ALLOA picked up a valuable point in a poor local derby match against Stirling Albion at Forthbank Stadium.
The Wasps nearly took the lead in the opening minutes but Albion stopper Scott Christie saved well from Chris Townsley's header.
Stirling's Michael Mullen had a golden chance after 15 minutes when one-on-one with Ray Jellema but after rounding the keeper he delayed the shot and the ball was cleared.
Minutes before half-time, Dougie Hill's headed effort brought out a wonderful save from Christie that kept the game scoreless at the break.
The hosts struck the bar through Mark Docherty early in the second period as Stirling Albion searched for the breakthrough.
Maitland's men had the last chance of the match, though, and only a piece of magnificent goalkeeping from Christie kept out substitute Brian Carrigan's effort.
After the game, Allan Maitland said, 'I Thought Stirling had their moments, we were decent, worked really hard, so a draw is a fair result. We had a great chance at the end when their goalkeeper made a magnificent save from Brian Carrigan."
