swimmers from Alloa Swimming Clubs Junior and Junior Potential squads turned on the style at last weekends Hamilton Graded meet held on Larkhall.
After months of uncertainty and stress over the closure of Alva Pool and the loss of valuable pool time, the swimmers have begun training at Tulliallan Police College and their hard work and commitment paid off at the competition.
Leading the way was 11-year-old Lewis Ryan who swam his way to two gold medals for 100m free and 100m back, and took bronze in the 50m free, with three superb performances.
Another Claremont Primary pupil Megan Grant (11) was also in great form, taking gold for 100m back, silver in 100m free and a too fast award for 100m fly.
Also taking home gold medals were Andrew Ferguson (9) 50m fly and Luke Robertson (12) 100m back.
Ben MacMillan had a great day.
The nine-year-old swam to silver in 50m breast and bronze in the 50m back.
Team mate Ruaridh Lawless was also in brilliant form winning silver in 100m back and bronze in 100m free.
Ten-year-old Zara Gullen continued the club's success taking silver in the 50m back and bronze in 50 free.
The two final medals of the day were won by 11-year-old Sophie Kettrick, who collected silver 100 fly and Craig Alexander (13), who took silver in 100 breast.
Finishing a great day the girls 100m relay team of Ellen Peden, Zara Gullen, Megan Grant and Eilidh Nimmo took a well deserved bronze.
Also swimming well and recording good personal best times were Logan Downie, Ross Weston, Struan Ryan, Euan Clark, Christie White, Molly Johnstone, Mhari Nimmo, Eilidh McKay, Calum Marshall and Cameron McCall.
The swimmers are now looking forward to the Alloa meet to be held at The Peak at the end of the month.
