The winter league has been very exiting this year with local lad Andy Connor of Sauchie soaring to the top of the league with an excellent three fish bag weighing in at over 20lbs. Top tactics have been slow fishing lures and fry imitations although buzzer fishing can be superb in the afternoon.

The unseasonably mild winter weather has favoured anglers and many have been doing well on floating lines on the better days.
