PREPARATIONS are nearly complete for the forthcoming Alloa FC Youth Development Community Football and Legends Day on Saturday at Recreation Park.
The main event will be the now annual match between the 7-0 Supporters Club and the Alloa FC Legends and new strips have been purchased for the game sponsored by Domino"s pizza.
As part of the day the squad for the Legends game has been announced as - Jim Butter, John Gibson, Davie Beaton, Willie Irvine, Paul McAnenay, Colin Campbell, Neil Bennett, Neil McAvoy, Kenny Hannah, Keith McCulloch, Robert Lee, John Irvine, Barry Moffat, Sean Smith, Greig Russell, Scott Williamson, Davie Wilcox, Steve 'Spider" Ramsay & WIllie Newbigging.
The Legends game will take centre stage of a football fun day that will include beat the goalie, face painting, prize raffles and competitions, youth team skill displays and the final of the Clackmannanshire penalty competition.
Action kicks off at 1.30pm on Saturday and entry for all children under 16 is free.
As the day is all about the community, some of the children from Home Start will attend. Home Start is an organisation that offers support, friendship and practical help to families with young children across Clackmannanshire.
