Small-sided football is set to return bigger and better than ever in Alloa when the popular 6-a-side football league is re-launched.

Alloa Athletic FC"s Recreation Park will again play host to a league on Sunday evenings and Leisure Leagues, Europe"s largest provider of 5 and 6-a-side football, will be taking care of the running of the competition.

Leisure Leagues" senior manager Chris Rowntree said, 'The league in Alloa was one of our most popular leagues, and we are extremely excited about bringing the action back to the area.

'Leisure Leagues are working tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the re-launched league.'

Anyone signing up to the newly revamped league - which kicks off on 12 July - can look forward to receiving a free top quality retro style kit, while the normal £25 entry has been waived.

'We aim to provide our teams with the best service possible. We take care of everything. All people need to do is turn up and pay the match fee.' Chris added.

'There has been a lot of interest already for the new league and I would urge any teams that are thinking about entering to do so as soon as possible as places will be very limited.'

As well as the free entry and kit, all matches are refereed by a UKIFF qualified official and all equipment will be provided.

The winners and runners up will be invited to take part in one of Leisure Leagues acclaimed National Tournament"s - and Birmingham has been chosen to host the next one in the Spring.

Teams can follow their progress on Leisure Leagues interactive website.

Anyone who wants to join the leagues can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net.
