TULLIBODY wrestling club brought home gold, silver and bronze from the Welsh Open Championships in Wrexham.

Seven out of the nine travelling wrestlers picked up medals as they competed against nearly two hundred people from across the country.

The team grabbed three gold, three silver and a bronze. The gold medal winners were Shannon Hawke 38kg, Corey Keatings 27kg and Brian Harper 40kg. Silver medals went to Robbie Davies 24kg, Michael Beirne 54kg and Lewis Waddell 59kg. The Bronze medal went to Chelsea Murphy 59kg.

This was a good warm up competition for the team before they head for the British Open Championships in Derbyshire on Saturday.

The Tullibody wrestlers would like to thank NO MESSIN! Network Rail for their continued support.
