The Clackmannan County Cricket Club 1st XI were promoted as East of Scotland Cricket Association Division Three champions on Saturday without having to play.
Having done the hard work throughout the season the final game was an anti-climax as Haddington, their opponents, unfortunately couldn't raise a side.
Like the second team last year, the firsts have achieved promotion for the second year in a row, and also like the seconds last year, they were gifted the points for their last game.
The Clackmannan players featured in the ESCA Division Three top 10 player statistics, with Craig Black topping the batting statistics with 851 runs, Rizwan Ashraf topping the bowling with 27 wickets with Craig Black and Neil Ramsay also in the top 10.
A good season for the firsts, who play Grange III in a friendly at The Arns this Saturday, in their final game of the season.
