A last second 'buzzer beater' from Daniel Donnelly won a dramatic game for the Knights last Friday, when they hosted Dunfermline Reign in front of a large crowd at The Peak.
The Knights were missing Coach Peter Duncan along with starters Grant Gibson and Rob Jansson.
A sluggish start saw the Knights playing some strong defence but failing to convert the easy chances presented to them which kept Dunfermline in the game going into the second period.
The visitors then found some fine shooting form to pull away to a nine point lead, only for Stirling to tie the game up again by half time.
In the third quarter, the Fifers led by guard O'Donnell again shot the ball extremely well and looked certain to steal a rare victory.
However, led by captain Mark Duncan in the fourth quarter the Knights pulled back a nine point deficit to go one point up with less than 20 seconds remaining at which point Dunfermline managed to steal the ball and score, putting them one up and leaving Stirling with only 10 seconds to score.
A shot from Duncan was rebounded by Donnelly who managed to secure the win as the final buzzer sounded, with the Peak crowd going wild.
Top scorers for Knights were Donnelly 21, Jack Burgess 16, Gary Ferguson 13 and Mark Duncan 11.
The Knights now embark on a run of five away games as they jostle for position before the league playoffs begin in March.
They face Glasgow Storm this Sunday at Scotstoun, 4.30pm tip off.
