Two weeks later, and still in the midst of GCSE's, he headed to the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh for the East District Grand Prix. There was an amazing field of swimmers. Scottish Olympians, Michael Jamieson, Hannah Milley, Craig Benson, Robbie Renwick and Caitlin McClatchy were joined by Liam Tancock, Kerri-Anne Payne, Joe Roebuck and many more. He was joined by Butt, Kirkwood and Gibb to do a display 4 x 50m freestyle relay where they broke the Scottish Junior record.

The Scottish Nationals were held from 13-16 June in the newly upgraded International pool at Tollcross Glasgow, the venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
