SAUCHIE secured their place in the fourth round of the Scottish Junior Cup, with a derby win over Camelon on Saturday.

Goals from Brian Morgan, Craig Comrie and sub Darren Cummings made all the difference on the day.

Here's how the players rated:

Darren Dolan........................................7

Made some impressive saves at crucial times in the game. Inspired confidence in his defenders.

Mark Sharp........................................7

Got up and down the right flank well until he was forced off with a nasty injury. A dependable performer.

Iain Syme...........................................7

Never stops running and was good defensively and offensively. One lung-bursting run with two minutes to go summed up his desire.

Graeme King......................................6

Perhaps guilty of losing his man as Alan Docherty equalised for Camelon but otherwise a solid performance.

Terry Hewitt.......................................7

A leader at the back, he won everything in the air and organised those around him.

Craig Comrie.....................................7

Neat and tidy in possession and crisp with his passing. Rifled home a superb volley to restore his side’s lead.

Ant McTaggart................................7

Worked hard down the right and created chances for himself and others. Can never fault his commitment.

Brian Morgan.............8 STAR MAN

The captain always comes to the fore in big games and did so again. Got things going with a fine strike and led by example throughout.

Conor Kelly....................................6

It didn’t quite happen for Kelly but he worked hard up front and created space for others.

David Grant...................................6

A good debut for the striker. Couldn’t get on the scoresheet but nevertheless did well on his first outing.

David Morrison............................7

Set up the opener and caused Camelon problems. Never afraid to drive with the ball and his range of passing is excellent.

Stewart Houston...........................6

Was solid at right-back after replacing Sharp. Sent in a few searching balls.

Jason Penman..............................6

Used his pace to good effect as Sauchie attempted to strike on the counter.

Darren Cummings........................7

Always good for a goal and that was the case again here. Showed a cool head to get on the scoresheet and make the result safe.
