FRASER DUNCAN reckons Saturday’s Super League clash at Broxburn will be as hard as any game his side have faced this season.

The Sauchie manager reckons the in-form West Lothian outfit will provide a tough test for his players.

But he believes his own side, who are unbeaten in the league since November, have what it takes to spring a surprise.

Duncan told Advertiser Sport: “Saturday is a massive task for us. Lochee and Penicuik were big hurdles but Broxburn will be just as hard because they are flying at the minute.

"They are scoring loads of goals and have put a really good run together since their change of manager.

“It’s a big ask for us this weekend but we will go and do all we can. We are looking forward to having a game and we’ll be ready to go.

“It’s the sort of game where we have managed to pick up points this season and I think our boys raise their game for these.

"The boys deserve credit because they’ve done really well, and they now have to make sure they continue to pick up points and kick on from there.”

Duncan says his players are desperate to keep their good run going, and backed them to continue their stunning form as the season enters the final stretch.

He added: “We are unbeaten in the league since November and although we’ve not had that many games, the hardest thing is when you haven’t been playing. Your attitude has to be spot on to make sure you keep picking up points.

“The boys are eager to keep the good run going and the most important thing is momentum. It’s not about what other teams are doing. It’s all about us keeping going and continuing to pick points up.”

Sauchie have rapidly risen up the Super League table after a poor start, and the manager reckons they could even force their way into the top half of the table.

Duncan said: “If you’d said to me we’d be in this position after the start we had I’d have bitten your hand off.

"We have done really well and we are looking like we could push into the top eight. It’s a great position to be in so we are chuffed to bits with that.”
