Sammi and Andy Tasker have enjoyed another trophy laden season.

Clackmannan brother and sister motorbikers Andy and Sammi Tasker - known as Team Tasker - have enjoyed another successful season in the Scottish Road Racing Series.

Andy (17) was the youngest racer in Scotland in the 600cc Superstock series on his 120hp Yamaha R6, and ended up a very respectable seventh at KDMC at Knockhill with times in the 54-second bracket, and eighth at the Melville club, which races at East Fortune near Haddington, with brilliant times of around 62seconds.

Sammi (15) raced in the same clubs and also the NEMCRC which are based at the Croft racing circuit near Darlington.

She had a fantastic year, ending up second at Knockhill in the Formula 125 Championship, picking up the fastest lap to be set by a female of 62.2 secs, and won the SACU under 18s trophy for best performance throughout the year.

Sammi also won the F125 Melville Club and Open Championships and the NEMCRC F125 Championship as well. She is the first female at both clubs to win a championship - so she ended up with even more trophies for mum to polish!

Sammi is also helping to promote 'Breastway Round'. This is a team of lady bikers who fund raise for Macmillan Cancer Support. Check out their website at www.breastwayround.com. Sammi and Stacey raised £115 at the recent North East Motorcycle Race Club dinner dance.

For the upcoming 2010 season, Andy would like to again get into the top 10 in his club championships, and Sammi wants to race in both the Formula 125 class on her pink 30hp Aprilia RS125 as well as in the GP125 class on her pink 45hp Honda RS125.

Both teenagers are also keen to enter the BSB (British Superbike) round at Knockhill this year.

Both Andy and Sammi are extremely grateful to their sponsors for their support over the last year, and are delighted to continue to receive their backing in 2010.
