A CLACKS man has helped to raise hundreds after setting up a charity football match in Alva last month.
Ryan Anderson, from Coalsnaughton, arranged the event in aid of the British Lung Foundation.
He is a member of Breathe East Clackmannanshire along with his father Pat who suffers from a debilitating lung disease.
The football match took place on October 15, with participants undeterred by the wet and windy conditions.
In the end, the group was able to raise a grand total of £600.
Ryan and Pat presented the cheque last week to Irene Johnstone, head of British Lung Foundation Scotland & Northern Ireland, in the Speirs Centre, Alloa.
Linda McLeod, chair of Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire, said: “The members of the group are extremely proud of Ryan and his amazing achievement, he tells me that next year he is planning a Skydive for The British Lung Foundation – an incredible young man.”
