ARGYLE Street has now reopened after an adult and child were struck by a car.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the incident happened shortly before 5pm.
She added the two were hit near Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
She had no information on their injuries.
Both were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University hospital.
The road reopened at around 8pm.
A traffic warning from Glasgow City Council said the road was closed in both directions between Blantyre Street to Sauchiehall Street from around 5pm.
