TULLIBODY Healthy Living (THL) held a packed spring event at the weekend.

There was arts and crafts, face-painting, healthy snacks, tuneful songs and more during the free event on Saturday, March 25.

Around 100 people turned out to Tullibody Civic Centre between noon and 3pm to show their support.

The sun beamed down for the day, allowing people to stretch their legs with a wander around the town.

Donna McLean, THL project assistant, said: "After 10 years this will be my last event.

"I have had a great time working at THL and will be sad to leave – it's great to see the community all coming together and catching up.

"In preparation for our Big Fit Walk in June, as the weather was great, our local walking group and Wee County Walkers took residents for a stroll around Tullibody scenic views."

There was planting for the community garden and stalls from the likes of Clackmannanshire Healthier Lives, the Delph Pond Forum and NHS Keep Well.

People were provided with the opportunity to find out what is happening within the area, or the chance to snap up a few prizes.

A nutritious lunch was also on offer to help keep the energy levels up – boasting of soup and rolls, sandwiches, fruit platters and wraps.
