A MAN has denied assaulting four members of the same family earlier this year.

The 29-year-old appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday, June 4, to face a total of six charges, all of which he pleaded not guilty to.

The first charge accuses him of stalking his former partner between April 1 and April 22 of this year at addresses in Tullibody and Alloa.

It is alleged he "engaged in a course of conduct which caused his former partner fear or alarm" by repeatedly sending her emails, text messages and phone calls.

It also accuses him of repeatedly attending outside her home and loitering there as well as uttering threats of violence and threatening to harm himself.

Also contained in the stalking charge is an accusation of entering the home address of his ex-partner's relative while uninvited and indicating that he had been "monitoring her movements".

The other five charges relate specifically to an incident on April 22 of this year.

It is claimed he shouted, swore, uttered threats of violence and struck his head against a car to its damage at an address in Tullibody.

It is also alleged that he assaulted two females and two males at this same address on this date.

The accused, of Masonfield Avenue, Cumbernauld, will appear again on June 18.
