THE award winning play of the hit 1997 British film, The Full Monty, is coming to Dunfermline.

It will be stripping its way to the Alhambra Theatre for the first time as part of a UK tour.

Simon Beaufoy, the Oscar-winning writer of the Robert Carlyle starring film, has gone all the way with this hilarious and heartfelt adaptation.

With songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones, this award-winning production is one huge package of laughs and emotion coming to Dunfermline direct from London’s West End starring Gary Lucy (EastEnders, winner of Dancing on Ice) among well-known faces from theatre and the small screen.

This Sheffield Theatres production is presented by David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers, the multi award-winning producers of ART, Brief Encounter and Calendar Girls.

The Full Monty will play from 6 October to 11 October, 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
