THE festive season is in full swing at Stirling Castle.

There is plenty to see and do at the historic attraction and the castle’s first ever Christmas shop, named Clan and Christmas, is a winter wonderland to behold.

If you’re looking for some inspiration, it boasts of a collection of unique gift ideas, stocking fillers and decorations to spruce up the tree and home.

Also on at the castle as part of the Christmas programme, the shopping fayre is back by popular demand and will be held on Tuesday 2 December.

There will be fun for all the family with a Medieval Merriment event on Sunday 7 December, where you can step back in time and join the royal court in festive celebration.

The Stirling contingent of the National Youth Choir of Scotland will also be welcomed back for Carols at the Castle, featuring traditional carols and popular Christmas songs, on Sunday 14 December.
