GET ready to do the conga as Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival returns for its 10th anniversary.

Homegrown in the Highlands, the Beauly music and performing arts event is one of the friendliest on the summer calendar and hopes to once again treat punters to a weekend of warm weather, spellbinding sets and fancy food - set to the theme of 'carnival'.

Last year the Garden Stage welcomed the likes of Beverley Knight, surprise secret act Kassidy, Frightened Rabbit, and closing headliners Travis - who had been on a touring hiatus since 2008's Ode to J Smith, but reunited to entertain the audience with a host of fan-favourites including Writing To Reach You, Closer and Why Does it Always Rain on Me.

The impressive line-up also included some of the brightest and most promising talent from around the UK - including Edinburgh-based singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt, Glasgow's French Wives, Killie trio Fatherson, Queensferry quartet Bwani Junction, Nottingham quintet Dog is Dead and Newcastle six-piece Lanterns on the Lake.

Carrbridge cutie Rachel Sermanni - who performed on BBC Scotland's 2012 Hogmanay Live programme - packed the Grassroots tent with a pretty perfect performance. Don't be surprised to see the youngster return, but this time taking to the main stage.

Belladrum will take place 2-3 August, Belladrum, Beauly. Tickets are 95 (inc Fri-Sat camping). Under-12s go free.
