It's, like, a Rabbit in the spotlight
Doune The Rabbit Hole returns for its third year with headliners The Phantom Band, King Creosote and Hidden Orchestra.
The not-for-profit family-friendly festival has moved to a spectacular new home at Duncarron Fort in Carron Valley woods and will showcase some of the best Scottish independent music, comedy, theatre and arts to raise money for young and disadvantaged people to learn creative skills like playing instruments, painting and writing.
This year there will be at least six stages, including the main Jabberwocky stage, Tenement TV stage, Longhouse spoken word stage and the Baino experimental stage.
Other acts on the bill include Chemikal Underground's Miaoux Miaoux, Plantet Mu's Rudi Zygadlo, Three Blind Wolves, Bwani Junction, Pram and Kid Canaveral.
Falkirk-raised performer Malcolm Middleton, half of the legendary Arab Strap, has also joined the line-up and will
perform his recently released Human Don't Be Angry project.
Doune The Rabbit Hole will take place at Duncarron Fort, 24-26 August. Weekend camping tickets cost £88, day passes are available and under 12s go free as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
The organisers have teamed up with Red Kite Yurts for those that wish to upgrade their accommodation. Camp in style with weekend tickets and yurts starting at £200 (two people, £100 each, 8ft yurt) to £750 (12 people, £62.50 each, 20ft yurt).
There will also be an exclusive and extremely limited 'posh camping' area at nearby Drum Farm, with showers and breakfast provided for an additional £20 per person for the weekend.
A variety of transport options with shuttle buses from Glasgow and Larbert have been organised, as well as lift share arrangements.
