Charming folksters The Staves are heading north of the border with their full headline tour.

The trio of English lovelies - Emily, Jessica, and Camilla Staveley-Taylor - will release their debut studio album (Dead & Born & Grown) through Atlantic Records on 22 October and will follow this up with appearances throughout the UK.

The sisters, who appeared on Tom Jones' Praise and Blame (2010), attracted notice in the States while supporting The Civil Wars at the beginning of the year.

They then superseded a South by Southwest (SXSW) performance with an Austin to Boston tour in March and April before hooking up with Bon Iver in Canada and North America - securing their place as the yank folk band's UK and European support.

The Staves will be warming up Bon Iver's crowd on Saturday 10 November at Glasgow's SECC and then will headline Edinburgh's Pleasance Theatre on Friday 23 November.
