Out for Tomorrow can't wait to hit the Tolbooth's stage next month, writes Jen Mitchell.

Following the release of their single Young & Foolish, the collaborative five-piece from Bridgwater will arrive in Stirling as part of their headline tour.

Lead vocalist Ben Lumber and bassist Lee McGarel told the Advertiser that punters can expect a lot of energetic galavanting.

Ben said, "We can't wait. We're always excited about playing shows and meeting our fans up and down the UK."

The lads - Ben, Lee, Jack Isaacs (guitars), Ash Scott (guitars) and Ben Havercroft (drums) - all range between 21-23, mostly grew up in Somerset and share a passion for music.

Lee said, "We were all in different local bands for a while and a few of us knew each other from school. The bands we were all in came to an end and we decided we wanted to carry on. We found that we were all on the same page with the kind of music we wanted to play and how seriously we wanted to take this band, so it's worked well ever since."

Ben added, "Being in a band is all that we've ever wanted to do and recently people have started to take notice of that. Like most bands we love going into the studio and we're currently touring quite a lot which means we get to meet a lot of new fans."

The boys write their own material together and tend to base their songs on personal experiences. They enjoy the creative process of producing a studio track, but love to perform live.

Lee said, "It's always really fun as we get to show our fans the live set we work so hard on."

Over the next 12 months they will be releasing the first single off their debut album - which is scheduled for release early 2013 - and will be touring with fellow British band Thousand Autumns.

The band wished to thank their manager and Pomona PR for all their hard work, their fans for the continued support, and the Scottish music scene for always being supportive when they visit. Ben added, "Hopefully we'll meet some more of you in September."

Out for Tomorrow will be playing at The Tolbooth on Friday 14 September. For tickets, go to tolbooth.stirling.gov.uk or call the Box Office on 01786 274000.
