Mini Dinos bring their sweet sound to the city
Stirling's Miniature Dinosaurs are taking their sweet indie-pop sounds to the capital.
In association with Live Music Now presents Emerging Artists, the quartet have been invited to showcase their talent in front of an audience at the Usher Hall.
Following on from a very successful past year, which included a Best Live Act nomination at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMAs), the boys are fresh out of the studio having laid down some new tracks for their forthcoming EP (Turn It On).
The band - Sam Waller (drums), Barry MacLean (vocals/guitar), Alban Dickson (bass) and Craig Ferrie (guitar/keys) - said, "It's always a great experience to play somewhere new, but to get a chance to perform at such a prestigious venue is a real driving force for us."
Mini Dinos will be playing at Edinburgh's Usher Hall on Tuesday 11 September, 11am. Tickets are £3, children and students go free.
For a full list of artists playing from 4 September 2012 to 22 January 2013 and to book your seat, visit www.usherhall.co.uk or call 0131 228 1155.
