SPRING has sprung and it’s the ideal time for kids to get crafty – especially during the Easter holidays.

That’s why Alloa Maker’s Gallery & Bistro is laying on a programme of creative workshops this April – perfect for keeping little hands busy.

The venue’s Kids’ Easter Workshops kick off at The Maker’s Village on April 15 and are suitable for children aged seven and up.

There, they can try creating a number of Spring-themed makes, including Beanie Chooks, Wildflower Seed Bombs, a Baby Sock Egg Cosy, and Bunny Egg Bags.

But mums, dads and grandparents needn’t feel left out because there’s something in store for them too.

Each ticket entitles an accompanying adult to a refreshing cup of tea or coffee – to be enjoyed, of course, in the relaxing hub of artistic tranquillity that is The Maker’s Gallery & Bistro.

For class dates and times, please see below: Beanie Chooks April 15 2014 – 10.30am-11.30am Learn how to make these adorable little beanie chickens – guaranteed to put a spring in your step.
