Whisky lovers can learn about their favourite tipple at The Makers Gallery and Bistro in Alloa.
Andrew Ford, a Master Blender and Scotch Whisky Consultant, will give two illustrated talks about Scotland’s national drink, on 11 July and 8 August from 7pm-9pm.
He will reveal what gives each of the whiskies their distinctive taste, what we should look for in a good whisky and what to avoid.
The event, sponsored by Diageo, will explore and taste whisky from the Highlands, islands, lowlands and Speyside, accompanied with homemade oatcakes, Roquefort cheese and locally sourced smoked salmon.
