Sexy Saturdays singer Una Foden can’t wait to get the band’s fans All Fired Up.

The lovely lassies are releasing their greatest hits in August before taking the album on tour, opening at the Clyde Auditorium on 7 September.

Una told the Advertiser, “It’s amazing that we’re starting in Glasgow. It’s the perfect place because that’s where we played our first tour gig years ago and it always has positive energy. We can’t wait.” The pop babe promises a night of show-stopping entertainment.

She said, “It’s going to be a big party with lots of fun – expect to be on your feet dancing. There’s going to be lots of costume changes and songs that will take you down memory lane. I’m also looking forward to performing songs that we haven’t done before.” The Irish beauty, who is married to rugby ace Ben Foden, now has a two-year-old daughter, Aoife.

Una said, “The last tour she was in my belly.” The tiny tot is due to start pre-school after the summer, so won’t be hitting the road with her mum.

The 32-year-old -–who joins bandmates Rochelle Humes and Frankie Sandford in having children – said, “The kids will come to some of the shows and we’ll be able to get home after some of them too, so it’s not going to be too bad being away.” Although a ‘greatest hits’ release normally signifies the end of a band, the girls – which also includes Mollie King and Vanessa White – have no intention of splitting any time soon and will head into the studio after the tour to start recording their fifth album.

Una added, “My favourite part when we’re on tour is meeting all the fans, but I also love having creative fun in the studio. I can’t wait to get back in again.” The Saturdays will kick off their UK-wide tour at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on 7 September. New single What Are You Waiting For? will drop on 10 August followed the next day by Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits. For more info, additional gigs and tickets, go to www.thesaturdays.co.uk.
