A TOP Scottish crime writer will drop in on Alloa today (Wednesday).
The Speirs Centre will welcome Alex Grey to the next ‘Meet the Author...’ event where she will be talking about her latest book ‘The Bird That Did Not Sing’.
Glasgow born and bred Alex has been awarded the Scottish Association of Writers’ Constable and Pitlochry trophies for her crime writing and is co-founder of the Bloody Scotland international crime writing festival.
‘The Bird That Did Not Sing’ is the 11th novel in the Detective Chief Inspector Lorimer series.
The event starts at 7pm, tickets are £2 and can be booked by calling 01259 450000.
