THE Claremont under-14 footballers lifted the Forth Valley Development Association Cup after a shoot-out with Riverside Boys Club.

Claremont had dominated in the first half of the final held at Ochilview last week, going two goals up courtesy of Liam Begg and Liam Stoley.

However, just before the interval Riverside pulled one back.

In a fairly even second half the Stirling side levelled the scores late on, culminating in a tense finish to the match.

With it all down to a penalty-shoot out the Claremont boys held their nerve to take home the cup with a decisive 4-2 victory.
