SCOTTISH singer-songwriter Emme Woods has launched a PledgeMusic crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs of her debut EP and accompanying film.
The Glasgow-based rock chick said: “I’m building a wonderful team of beautiful creatives that will be working on it too. I’m so buzzing to let you all hear it; new music to groove to.”
The songstress has created a range of packages. Fans can snap up digital downloads of It’s Ma Party or signed vinyl. They can also request a cover song, pay for a private gig or become an extra in the film, which will be shot in Glasgow. Emme has also created additional packages whereby you can join her band on a paddleboarding excursion, enjoy a home-cooked dinner, or even buy a pair of her bandmate Neil McKenzie’s signed boxers.
Emme added: “ I’ll be throwing in some merch and pre-orders of the EP into the store. I’ll be throwing in some house shows, fun stuff and my heart and soul. Get it while it’s still beating.
“There’s lots of things up for grabs and I can't thank you all enough for the support so far. The pledges have been flying in and I can't believe there are so many wonderful people out there that want to help.”
Following on from lead singles I Don’t Drink To Forget and I’ve Been Running, Emme has been playing gigs across the globe.
As well as performances at Belladrum, The Great Escape and Tenement Trail this year alone, the 22-year-old has also notched up appearances in New York with Los Angeles now firmly on her radar before the end of 2017.
