THE music festival which featured performances from Alva's Stevie McCrorie and Amy Macdonald has been recognised by the National Outdoor Event Awards.
At a prize ceremony in Bath recently, producers Peter Ferguson and John Richardson scooped the NOEA Scotland Tribute Award for Party at the Palace.
The popular, family-friendly festival which takes place in West Lothian every year, and featured the Clacks singer this summer.
Party at The Palace has gone from strength to strength and continues to attract music lovers from all over the country, having had acts such as Simple Minds, Nile Rodgers, The Proclaimers and Kaiser Chiefs grace the stage in the Linlithgow setting.
Both were thrilled with their win and pleased that their efforts are now being acknowledged on the UK awards scene.
Peter said: "John and I are absolutely delighted to have been recognised for this award.
"Having spent the last four years building up an event which is now a much anticipated and respected event in the Scottish festival calendar, we are proud of our achievements.
"We are now focused on bringing the very best acts that we can to our 2018 event and hope to see many more years of success ahead."
