KIRKCALDY'S music festival has announced Wet Wet Wet as their Friday headliner.
The iconic Scottish band will take to the stage on the night along with other acts Sandi Thom, Hue & Cry and Callum Beattie.
More names are still to be announced for the event which takes place on the Promenade on May 27-29 next year.
A spokesperson for the festival said: "We are delighted to add such a legendary band to our lineup and can't wait to hear them belting out all their hits on Kirkcaldy Promenade."
The event is a fundraiser for the NHS, and was initially scheduled for October this year, but was postponed due to the rise in Covid cases in the area.
The confirmation of Wet Wet Wet is a massive coup for the festival which will also be bringing a number of massive Scottish acts to the Prom, including The Skids, Big Country, Midge Ure, Gun, Goodbye Mr McKenzie, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5.
There will also be a contingent of impressive up-and-coming performers, including Cameron Barnes, PG Ciarletta, Ali & the Parade, Rachel White and Dovv.
