MEGAN BLACK has announced her debut album will be released in the spring.

The West Lothian star turned out three incredible singles last year in the form of Freedom Belongs to Him, San Francisco and Sweet Bisexual.

She will now follow up with the LP, Deadly Is The Woman, on Friday, April 1.

Black is one of the most original artists in the Scottish Music Scene at the moment, bringing her own unique brand of Hippy-dippy drag queen to the fore.

Her album will be one of the most anticipated releases of 2022.

"It’s finally here," she announced. "I’m beyond delighted to announce that I will be releasing my debut album, titled Deadly Is The Woman on April 1.

"This has been a long-time coming and I cannot thank everyone who has supported me enough.

"This album is all about the power and pain I’ve found through healing and I cannot wait to share it with you all."

Black will also perform twice in the coming weeks with support slots in Glasgow and her hometown of Livingston.

On March 3, she will play with Moy at The Hug and Pint, before joining wrest at the Howden Park Centre on March 11.
