LAWRENCE CHANEY has joined the line-up for the inaugural Colourboxx Festival this June.

The only Scottish champion of UK Drag Race, Chaney has gone on to become one of the biggest stars to come out of the show.

Last year, the Helensburgh native beat the likes of David Tennant and Martin Compston to win the Audience Award at the 2021 Scottish Baftas, as well as becoming “Fairy Godmaw” as the face of Irn Bru’s legendary Christmas campaign.

Joining Chaney is the winner of UK Drag Race series one: The Vivienne. The original UK champion, The Vivienne is now an international star with her own BBC Three show 'The Vivienne Takes On Hollywood', as well as appearing on Celebrity Mastermind earlier this year, and a recent cameo in the critically acclaimed BBC drama ‘This Is Going To Hurt’.

Second series favourite Tia Kofi, who became renowned throughout her time in the show for high-energy performances, is also on the line-up. Tia, who holds residencies at some of London’s most iconic LGBTQIA+ clubs, also runs her own theatre group, writes her own music and performs her own choreography.

The trio feature on the packed bill alongside the likes of Platinum-selling Years & Years, Becky Hill, Joesef, Sugababes, Rina Sawayama, Taahliah, HYYTS, L Devine, July Jones, Walt Disco, Lucia & The Best Boys, LVRA, LYRA, and Berry Galazka, plus many more to be announced.

Tickets are on sale now via colourboxx.com, with fans having the option to donate to Colourboxx partners LGBT Youth & TIE (Time for Inclusive Education) while purchasing a ticket.
