A YOUNG woman who attempted to steal a car and pocketed toiletries from Debenhams will have to undergo addiction counselling.
On Thursday (10 July) at Alloa Sheriff Court, Danielle Farmer (21) admitted entering an insecure black Peugeot in The Nebit, Alva, on 11 April 2012 in an attempt to steal it.
Farmer, of Bridge Street in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, also pleaded guilty to nicking a quantity of toiletries from Debenhams in Stirling’s Thistles Shopping Centre on 11 February 2013.
Sheriff David Mackie sentenced Farmer to a Community Payback Order with supervision for two years and a conduct requirement to attend addiction counselling.
