CLACKS cops have made a number of arrests as part of the third week of Operation Tetra, an ongoing initiative that targets violent crime and robbery.
Five people were arrested across the Wee County for a variety of offences including domestic assaults and breaches of bail, four members of a family were arrested for crimes of violence, £1000 was collected in unpaid fines, and in Sauchie two officers carried out special patrols to focus on anti-social behaviour and youth disorder following concerns about underage drinking in the area.
Chief Inspector Mandy Paterson said, “The number of arrests we have made is sending a message that we will not tolerate violent crime in Forth Valley and will robustly go after the perpetrators.
“We will be continuing our actions under this operation throughout July and August, but tackling violent crime and robbery is always a priority for us.”
