AN Alloa company will tee up their finest wares as they join a diverse array of producers presenting the very best of Scotland’s larder.

Ella Drinks will serve up a variety of artisan goods at the Land of Food & Drink Showcase at The 2014 Ryder Cup, as part of a wider offering that includes handmade chocolate truffles, cheeses, smoked fish, unique charcuterie and more.

The showcase in the Scotland Welcomes the World Zone, will include produce from more than 30 companies to help feed the appetites of the thousands of visitors to The Ryder Cup from Tuesday 23 to Sunday 28 September.

Supported by 2014 Food & Drink, the showcase will give both domestic and international visitors the opportunity to experience the very best of Scotland in one of its most picturesque settings.

Others to be featured include: Mara Seaweed; Plan Bee Honey; Peelham Farm; Rannoch Smokery; Connage Highland Dairy and Pulsetta to name a few.

Taste of Arran, The Highland Chocolatier, Mrs Tilly’s and St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company will be present throughout the tournament to give visitors a taste of their delicious produce and Discovering Distilleries (Diageo) will carry out whisky tastings.
