FORTH Valley College’s partners in a Modern Apprentice (MA) training facility at the Alloa Campus, FES Facilities Management (FM), have won a prestigious industry award.
At a gala awards ceremony held in the Grosvenor Hotel in London, organised by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) and attended by 1350 industry professionals, FES won the Learning and Career Development category.
The BIFM awards judges said FES FM were “committed to knowledge and skills development” and had a “long-term commitment to staff development across a range of activities”, of which the new Alloa facility was a major part.
Tom Gorman, Forth Valley College’s associate principal and executive director estates development, and Ian Morrison, FVC’s head of construction, both attended the awards ceremony.
