ALLOA Musical Players (AMP) has launched a new logo and released tickets for their latest production just in time for Christmas.
South Pacific will run from Wednesday 4 to Saturday 7 March in Alloa Town Hall, with a matinee on the Saturday. Tickets can be obtained from the usual sources, including McFarlane’s Butchers, Alloa, members of the cast, online at alloamusicalplayers.webs.com and on AMP’s Facebook page.
Jean Thom, veteran of the club and current committee member, said: “I am really excited about this year’s production, there are lots of new, young cast members who are adding to our already strong cast. It’s bound to be spectacular. I’ll certainly be buying some tickets as Christmas presents.” Tickets cost £10-£12, £5 matinee (children), and group discounts are available for some nights, check the website for details.
The committee are still keen to encourage anyone who is interested in any aspect of musical theatre, from singing to building sets, running the box office to stage crew, to head along to the Pensioners Community Hall in Erskine Street, Alloa, on Monday nights, from 7.30pm.
